Why the proof matters here
A Star Battle grid with two valid star layouts is the worst page in a puzzle book, because the reader's correct placement contradicts the answer key and no amount of checking finds the mistake. Every Gridbinder Star Battle goes through a complete search for a second layout and is thrown away if one exists. Two-star Star Battle has no step-by-step solver yet, so for these puzzles the complete search is the proof, and the Verification report says so.
Books end with a Verification report (on unless you switch it off): each puzzle with its level and size, the number of solutions a complete search found, and, for every type with a step-by-step solver, how it finished the puzzle.

What grid sizes does Star Battle use?
Medium is 9 x 9. Hard is 10 x 10. All puzzles have two stars per row, column and region.
Is Star Battle proved the same way as the other types?
Not quite. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, found by a complete search. Unlike the other types, two-star Star Battle has no step-by-step logic check yet, and the Verification report lists these puzzles as search only.
Do you offer one-star Star Battle?
No. Gridbinder makes two-star puzzles only.
