Gridbinder · Nonogram
Nonogram puzzle book maker for KDP and e-ink
Nonogram readers love the moment a picture appears, and they hate a grid that stalls halfway. If you publish for them, you need puzzles that always finish by reasoning.
Choose the levels, the trim size and the number of puzzles. You get the grids, a how-to page, an answer key and a Verification report in one PDF. The free 12-puzzle sample has a watermark and needs no account.

Why the proof matters here
A Nonogram with two patterns that fit the clues leaves the reader unsure whether their answer is wrong or the book is. A grid that stalls and needs a guess is worse, because one wrong guess spoils the whole page. Gridbinder only keeps a Nonogram if a solver using line logic alone can finish it. That also means exactly one pattern fits, and the Verification report lists how many passes it took.
Books end with a Verification report (on unless you switch it off): each puzzle with its level and size, the number of solutions a complete search found, and, for every type with a step-by-step solver, how it finished the puzzle.

How to solve, as printed in the book
The numbers beside each row and above each column give the lengths of the runs of filled cells in that line, in order. Two runs are separated by at least one empty cell.
Shade the cells that the numbers force. Exactly one pattern fits, and it can always be reached by reasoning, never by guessing.

Questions
What grid sizes do the Nonogram levels use?
Easy is 8 x 8, Medium 10 x 10, Hard 12 x 12 and Challenge 15 x 15.
What makes Hard and Challenge harder?
The grid gets bigger, so there are more lines to reason about. Every Nonogram at every level can be finished by line logic, never by guessing.
Can I make a large print Nonogram book?
Yes. Turn on Large print for bigger type and choose one puzzle per page. A 15 x 15 grid has many cells, so check the sample at your trim size before you publish a Challenge book.
